Book fair is each day this week during school hours except for Friday when we close at 10:30 am. The eWallet program is available for you to use if you wish. Go to https://www.scholastic.com/bf/westcentralelementary to set up an account. Also, consider rounding up your purchase to the nearest dollar and donating the amount to Share the Fair. The library uses this to purchase books for the library, assist when students are short (as for taxes), and to help fund the book giveaways as prizes.

Herd Round-Up is offering 4 DIFFERENT DAYS for all elementary students to DECORATE BOXES and have them ready for school parties.
Students are welcome to attend 1 or more of the days! They can bring their own box and decorations or use the items that will be provided. Check out the flyer that is attached and sign up before spots fill up! A copy of this flyer will be sent home with students - you can call the office or send the form and payment to school to reserve your spot!

In January, we're focusing on learning about SPACE while we make cool projects! The students got to see an amazing performance by the 3rd graders today as they showed off their fun songs, awesome dance moves and amazing facts that they learned about space. HRU is continuing to build on that with fun projects each day while they have fun after school!

The Wolf Pack is blasting off into Space during Herd Round Up! Students are learning about the Solar System and doing amazing art projects each day to go along with their learning. Homework Help and Art Projects will be worked on after school, along with time with friends and a snack.
Herd Round Up is available for all students and is everyday after school from 3:35-6:00. Each day is $5 and payment can be made to the front office or the Herd Round Up staff. Let the front office or your child's teacher know that he/she will be attending Herd Round Up. Payment can be made anytime at the office or with the Herd Round Up staff and you will receive a receipt.
